NOVELL PRODUCTS and VERSIONS:
NetWare Global MHS 2.0

ABSTRACT:

NGM209.EXE is the latest maintenance patch for NetWare Global MHS 2.0 revision D.  Strongly recommended for all sites with Global MHS 2.0d.  Upgrades GMHS to v2.02d and includes new fixes.  NGM209 will not work with a version other than v2.0d.  To determine your current GMHS version, type 'MODULES' at the server console prompt and verify that the version number for 'NGMADMIN.NLM' is 2.0d.

SYMPTOM:

1.  Directory Synchronization 
  -Directory Synchronization now properly handles Workgroup information on GMHS Passive Servers and/or Gateways.  It allows for Workgroup long names that match Passive Server or Gateway long names.  Previously, if the Passive Server or Gateway name was the same as the Workgroup name, GMHS would discard the information for that Workgroup.

2.  Time Zone

  -GMHS will now correctly handle timezones which contain a '-'  value (e.g.  EST-10ESU)

SOLUTION: 

Apply NGM209.

Installation Instructions:

Follow the installation instructions in README.UPG.  They must be followed for the upgrade to succeed.  Copying the contained files onto theGMHS server does not constitute an upgrade to 2.02d.  This patch can be applied only to a Global MHS 2.0D installation.

Patch History:

The preceeding GMHS patch is NGM207.  NGM207 is NOT superseded by this patch.
